Robert
Parigi was born in Beaumont, Texas, where he shot his first
films on Super 8. While studying philosophy and psychology at Trinity University
in San Antonio, he formed the Alternative Film Series to showcase
foreign, classic, and cult films. Upon moving to Los Angeles, he worked extensively in film and television. His producing credits include HBO's Tales from the Crypt, and NBC's Dark Skies and Profiler. |

His screenplay for Love Object won the Best Writer award at the Malaga International Fantasy Film Festival. With Marilyn Manson he co-wrote the screenplay Holywood. Other writing includes Blair Witch 2 and The Mirror for Artisan, and Nightvisions for Fox Television. Most recently, he wrote and directed the feature film Love Object for Edward R. Pressman's ContentFilms. Love Object won the Prix de la critique internationale and the Prix premiere at the 2004 Gerardmer Fantastic Arts Film Festival in France, and was an official selection at the Tribeca, Munich, and San Sebastian film festivals. Love Object is distributed theatrically in the United States by Vitagraph Films, and on domestic video by Lions Gate. When relaxing from his adventures in film, Robert has written reviews for Amok Books, and liner notes for Rhino Records.
